2025 Annual Report
Growing Deeper Roots, Reaching Wider Fields
In 2025, Seed Your Future continued to grow the horticulture workforce pipeline – deepening what we started and reaching into new territory. Our Seed to STEM program expanded beyond science classrooms for the first time, welcoming art, math, business, and English teachers into the fold, because horticulture careers touch every discipline. Educators downloaded our classroom lessons nearly 2,000 times, from teachers in all 50 states.
We also launched a national internship study with NC State University's Horticulture Department, uncovering what students and employers really need to make internships work – findings that will shape new tools for the field. Green Career Week reached more than 20,000 students to date, opening their eyes to the horticulture employers and businesses right in their own communities – planting the seed for a career they might choose after graduation, or years down the road.
As you explore this report, you'll meet the students, educators, and industry champions turning these numbers into real careers. Together, we're building a future where every young person can see themselves in horticulture.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
