PARTNERS & CONTRIBUTORS
Our movement was founded in 2013 by Longwood Gardens and the American Society for Horticultural Science. We have grown to more than 200 endorsing partners. We are teaming up to increase public awareness of the positive attributes of horticulture. We want our educators, public service workers, students, and the general public to view horticulture as a vital, viable, and vibrant career path. This task will require a concerted and coordinated effort on the part of all those within the horticulture sector, including industry, associations, organizations, public gardens, elementary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, and governmental agencies. Interested in supporting the movement? Learn about our Seed Your Future contribution levels and recognition.

"Our industry needs not only passionate plant people but also young people who are interested in IT, engineering, production, human resources, product management, breeding - you name it. We need a diverse group of the next generation in horticulture and Seed Your Future is helping to ensure that happens."
—Anna Ball, CEO of Ball Horticulture

“Horticulture is no longer something that students are normally exposed to in their early years. This is why we believe in the Seed Your Future mission about connecting students with the love of horticulture and plants.”
—Mark Boron, CEO of Proven Winners
