Carrie Waterman

Carrie Waterman has served on National Committees of the Garden Club of America for the past 23 years, including Horticulture, Flower Show, Judging, and most recently as a Vice President on the GCA’s Executive Board. She is currently the chair of the GCA’s Horticulture Committee and is one of the authors of the GCA’s Propagation Manuals.

Carrie is a Trustee at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society where she serves as Secretary and is working on bringing back the flower show to MHS. She is a former Trustee and current Council Member at the Native Plant Trust and has served on development, horticulture and awards committees at that organization.

Flower Shows have been a big part of Carrie’s volunteer life. She has been Chairman of the Amateur Competitions of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s 2013 Boston Flower & Garden Show and has been Chairman of the Amateur Horticulture Competitions at the New England Spring Flower Show and the Boston Flower & Garden Show numerous times.

Carrie has a BA in Art History from Smith College.
