An artist engages in creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating an art. Within horticulture, artists are needed to help create beautiful landscapes and gardens, illustrate drawings, create catalogs and materials for companies, and many more artistic tasks.
Generally, no formal education is required*. Each employer will have defined specific needs. A portfolio of your art is generally required to help show your talent.
*Some employers may prefer/require a degree.
